Crystal Lynn
One of the hottest young stars in Texas, Crystal Lynn originally hails from Detroit, Michigan. Born on June 25, 1992, she started singing her father to sleep when she was three, and has been singing ever since. When she was eleven, she decided that this is what she wanted to do professionally and now, at fourteen, she is a very dynamic and talented young lady whose star is on the rise in Country Music. Now managed by the same folks who brought us LeAnn Rimes and Steve Holy, she is backed by a full band of professional musicians. She is a member of the American Federation of Musicians, The Christian Country Music Association, The Motor City Music Foundation, and ASCAP. A two category nominee for the 2006 Detroit Music Awards (Outstanding Country Vocalist and Outstanding Country Recording, "It's More Fun To Be A Girl"), she has received FIVE nominations (Outstanding Country Artist, Outstanding Country Writer, Outstanding Country Vocalist, Outstanding Gospel/Christian Writer, and Oustanding Gospel/Christian Vocalist) in 2007. The title cut from her third album “It’s More Fun To Be A Girl” climbed to number 37 on the Independent Country Music charts and was one of the most requested and played on AM and FM radio nationwide, according to PowerSource Magazine in Nashville, TN. This album was produced and recorded in Nashville, utilizing the talents of some of the industry's best known writers (such as Willie Nelson, John Anderson, and Mark Knopfler). A proficient guitarist herself, she enjoyed the company of some of the best studio musicians in the country, including Bruce Boutin and J.T. Corenflos. A second song from the same album, “Broken Branches” also received radio airtime (although not officially released as a single) with tremendous listener response in the Detroit area. A single from her Christmas CD, "There is a Child" was released in November, 2005 and was played in heavy rotation nationwide.
